It was a busy weekend at Finger Lakes Treasure Trove with the Fall Into Canandaigua festivities! We had quite a few visitors stop by to shop, show off their costumes, and check out our name-your-own-price bake sale – which raised money for our upcoming food pantry expansion and improvements. We also put a couple racks of FREE COATS outside, which many took advantage of and deeply appreciated. With that being said – we need more coats! We want to keep this going all Winter, so check your closets and bring them down! ![]()

Halloween is just a few days away. If you still need a costume, stop by and check out our selection of outfits and accessories. All Halloween costumes are 50% off this week! If you’re feeling extra adventurous, you could be like our friends at Greenfront Restaurant. Some of their staff came by last week and searched our racks for a good hour to find some pretty SPOT ON clothing to cosplay as Blanche, Dorothy, Sophia, Rose, Stanley, etc on Halloween! They were pretty excited. Stop by their place on Halloween to be served by… The Golden Girls – complete with outfit changes!
We hear they’re going to have the classic show playing on their televisions as well. How fun!

We’d also like to thank everyone in the community that continues to drop off food for us to keep our free food pantry stocked for those in need! Your generosity is vital. We recognize recent changes might make things difficult for some and we are monitoring the situation carefully with our partners at Foodlink. That being said, we are here to help. If you need a few things to get through, or just want to save a few bucks on your next grocery bill, stop by! If we have it, it’s yours. No one is going hungry on our watch – especially children and seniors. All we ask is that you sign the anonymous sheet on the table (they like stats) and respectfully take only what you and your family can use, leaving enough for others.

As always, monetary donations are always appreciated (but optional!) and can be dropped in the red lock box by the pantry. You can also round up your change or add a donation at the register while you’re cashing out your store purchases. Every little bit helps us purchase food from Foodlink at discounted prices (as low as 19 cents a pound!), as well as other local vendors and stores to supplement. We recently had a woman apologize for “only donating $1.” Well that single dollar bought FIVE one-pound boxes of pasta. So yeah, your contribution, no matter the size, makes a real difference. Thank you! ![]()
Special thanks to Sherry, Ida, and family for bringing us their extra farm fresh eggs to distribute!
They dropped off their first batch on Saturday. If you have any empty egg cartons laying around, please drop them off so they can fill them for us!

Finally, it’s Bat Week!
We always love a good animal week around here. Stop by to learn about these incredible creatures with our Bat Facts video playing in the front of the store, and other flyers here and there. We also have bat themed treats and coloring sheets for the kiddos!

We have new items every day so stop by and see us for some deals! Or just say hi and talk about your favorite band or concerts
