GUESS WHAT?! 
We just tripled our cold storage capacity with these new (to us) Whirlpool Sidekicks Refrigerator/Freezer units! These will allow us to order and store more essential refrigerated and frozen items for our free community food pantry. A huge thanks to Melissa and her crew at ReStore Canandaigua, who not only gave us a nice discount on these, but also held them for a week while we prepped our space …and then delivered them right to our door. We appreciate you! 
This upgrade also couldn’t have happened without our community of shoppers and donors. EVERY single dollar dropped in the red pantry donation box, EVERY round-up at the register (no matter how small), EVERY direct contribution by those that give us a little extra on those round-ups (or straight up write us checks), and EVERY dollar dropped in our jar at Lakeshore Wine & Liquor – it ALL helped contribute to this upgrade. We appreciate all of you! 
As always, our free pantry, powered in part by Foodlink, is open to anyone during business hours and is located in the back of the store. Whether you’re having trouble making ends meet or just need to stretch your grocery budget, you are welcome stop by and fill a bag with items to help you and your family. To help us keep the pantry stocked, we just ask that you 1) use the anonymous sign-in sheet each time you visit (this helps with our reporting to Foodlink) and 2) please be mindful of others and take only what you need. We are not a grocery store, but our goal is to have enough for everyone. Help us help you, and everyone else, too.
